Moroccans are gifted for foreign languages. Many speak French and are also familiar with English and German. Official language in Morocco is arabic. Berber dialects are also widespread. When doing bussiness, French or English is the most common language.

On the north of Morocco you can easily talk English, Spanish or French, even every taxi drivers speaks at least two of these languages. Spanish is less common in the south of Morocco. In Sahara desert local people talk mostly French, Berber and Arabic.

When you can talk at least little Arabic local people appreciate it a lot and familiarize a lot easier. However it's good to know that Morrocan Arabic is a little different from the classic Arabic language. Some Morrocans often talk Arabic highly influenced with Frech. Simple Morrocan people are often unable to understand text in classic Arabic.
